What I collect

If you request a free mockup: your name, farm name, email address, WhatsApp number, where your farm is, what you breed, how you sell, what you want the site to do, your rough budget bracket, your timeline, any link you give me, any photos you upload and anything you write in your own words.

I also record which page sent you here and any campaign tags in the link, plus your connection's IP address. The IP is used only to stop the form being abused.

Why I collect it

To build your mockup, to price it honestly, and to contact you about it. That's all. I do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties, and I do not add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Photos you upload are deleted within 12 months unless they become part of a site I build for you. Client records are kept for as long as I host your site, and for five years afterwards for tax purposes.

Where it is stored

On managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Uploaded photos sit in private storage that is not publicly reachable — only I can open them, through links that expire.

Analytics

I use Plausible Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read. It is cookieless and stores no personal data or cross-site identifiers. Visitors in the United States and the EU are asked before any non-essential tracking runs.

Your rights

Under South Africa's POPIA — and the GDPR or state privacy laws where they apply to you — you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll act on it within 30 days, usually the same week.
